&lt;P&gt;If you rename the QVW in Windows without first deallocating the Document CALs, you'll run into the issue described in the Qlik Support article&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/How-To-Recover-Document-CALs-Assigned-To-A-Deleted-QVW/ta-p/1711237" target="_blank"&gt;How To Recover Document CALs Assigned To A Deleted QVW&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp; So the correct order of operations here is to first remove the Document CALs and deallocate them from the QVW, then rename the QVW in Windows File Explorer.&lt;/P&gt;
