&lt;P&gt;When did this issue begin to occur?&amp;nbsp; What has changed in the environment?&amp;nbsp; What is the full build version of QV (e.g. 12.50 SR3)?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Often times this type of issue is due to communication issues between the QlikView Distribution Service and the QlikView Management Service.&amp;nbsp; The QDS Root log is the log that has information regarding triggered tasks.&amp;nbsp; Suggest you review it for errors/warnings/info entries on why the tasks didn't trigger.&amp;nbsp; Also, the Qlik&amp;nbsp;whitepaper&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.qlik.com/us/-/media/files/resource-library/global-us/register/whitepapers/wp-qlikview-publisher-clustering-configuration-guidelines-en.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;Scaling the QlikView Publisher&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;has some great information on how to configure QDS and QMS.&amp;nbsp; If you continue to have issues with your EDX tasks not triggering, suggest that you contact Qlik Support for direct assistance.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>QMC tasks are not triggering.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am facing&amp;nbsp; issue with&amp;nbsp; QMC tasks not triggering. Not a sngle task is getting triggered.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have removed some 1000+ files from EDSXResult folder. But still facing the same issue.The deleting process is also taking lot of time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we are using Qlikview 11.20.12577.0 SR8.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No change has been done to the environment and the issue has been there from yesterday (2021-09-06)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the root log file of distribution service I am getting this error:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Error An unexpected error occurred while trying to update task result file for started task, file=C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\TaskResults\TaskResult_309a9034-93f1-4097-9476-3d53e2caf573.xml. Exception=System.Exception: Failed to open C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\EDXResults\EDXResult_c2f31214-a7c1-4c12-9062-264543879083.xml with ReadWrite access after 18 retries. Exceptions=&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The requested operation could not be completed due to a file system limitation&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Suggest that you try clearing the entire %ProgramData%\QlikTech\DistributionService\EDXResults\ directory.&amp;nbsp; Or, you can also try recreating the %ProgramData%\QlikTech\DistributionService directory.&amp;nbsp; Doing so will not effect your tasks schedule at all, but will reset the historical information in QMC &amp;gt; Status &amp;gt; Tasks such as Executed on, Status, Last Execution, and Started/Scheduled&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Please note that the version you running, 11.20.12577 reached end of support on 12/31/2020.&amp;nbsp; So, if you require assistance from Qlik Support and/or R&amp;amp;D, you'll need to upgrade the environment to a supported version - 12.50 or 12.60.&lt;/P&gt;
