QlikView Desktop Password

Hi,

Just recently installed the QlikView Desktop application. This is all working, we log in using Alternate Identity and can gain access to the dashboards required. However I have been asked the question as to whether or not we can save passwords within the application.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you were to use the Ajax Client in a web browser and the Alternate Login page (web form) option in the QVWS resource in QMC, you would likely be able to save the login password in the form etc. I do not believe there is any means to do this in the Desktop Client using the Alternate Identity option.
