We want to run our QlikView landscape on https to improve security in combination with the IIS as Web-Service. Therefor we have already switched the AccessPoint to use SSL. Now we try to switch the qmc as well but without success.

We have already set <add key="UseHTTPS" value="true"/> within the QVManagementService.exe.config with the effect that we are no longer able to open the qmc neither by localhost nor ip nor full qualified name.

Our landscape uses the following setup:

Server1 - QlikView Server
Server2 - QlikView WebServer (+DSC)
Server3 - QlikView Publisher1
Server4 - QlikView Publisher2

Any suggestions what could help solving the problem?

Thank you very much...

Hello Simon,

We have an article that goes through the steps needed for this. Comparing that with the step you took, I think the certificate binding to the correct port is missing. See How to configure the QlikView Management Console to use HTTPS (kb 000003889).

Hope that helps! 🙂
