I have seen a couple articles about exporting to .xlsx, but most are older and saying it cannot be done, or you need a newer SR of QlikView... We are on 12.2 SR9 currently and I'm trying to track down how we can make it export to this. We have a few reports that individuals need to export the data , but it cuts off the number of columns that it exports because of the .xls format. Is there a setting I can change on the server?

Would updating to SR11 do anything? Any other options besides adding in macro script buttons? Looking for a definitive answer so that it's out there to hopefully help someone else searching.

Export to xlsx is supported in version 12.2. it has been since nov 2017

ok, I will look into it and check back. I just don't know why it's so hard to find ready information about this feature or if it's not working. I Googled for hours trying to find something relevant or to shine light on it, but this setting file solution never game up.
