we are facing some dashboard issues with one of our existing customer. Now to debug the issue we are using one of the named user cals from the customer , which they are not comfortable with. Do we have an Option with Starter pack wherein we have a support login to access the dashboards without using the clients usercals

QlikView User licenses are tied to a particular Server serial number. Those are not floating licenses that you can lease from one server and use to access documents on another server. If you want to access documents in the AccessPoint on a particular QlikView Server, then you'll need a User license from that server.

It's different if you only want to open QVW files in QV Desktop. A lease-licensed QV Desktop will open any document from any server, just not as an AccessPoint client.

BTW can you explain what you mean by "...wherein we have a support login to access the dashboards without using the clients usercals"?

We are just trying to understand if we have an option of logging in to the dashboards without actually using the named usercals already assigned to the client.

You do have an option: copy the customer dashboard to your own server and open it with a User license from that server. Or copy the dashboard to a machine where you have a licensed QV Desktop available.

But opening a dashboard from the AccessPoint ath the customer's will involve a user cal from the customer license.
