I'm looking for a guide on how to apply/remove/manage Named CALs and Document CALs but I can't find one.

I am not looking for what the fields mean in the QMC. I am looking for instructions on how to properly remove DOC and Named CALs.

Which version of Qlik View you are using

if QV 11.2 the following command can be used to delete the inactive CAL's

-r, --remove

If you take a look at the last two links, it guides you through how to add and delete CALs.

Serina is correct in that the QlikView Help URLs she linked to do provide the steps on how to add/remove Document CALs / Named User CALs.

Qlik has a YouTube video that walks you through the management of Doc CALs here.

Another thing to remember is that the quarantine period for Named User and Document CALs was changed to 7 days from 24 hours

from releases QlikView 11.20 SR16 & QlikView 12.10 IR forward.
