Server reload performance in 12.20 SR3 is very bad compared to 11.2

With a new server and the latest version we expected things to improve when we upgraded from our 11.2 running on an old windows server (32bit) to a new server running windows 2012 with a lot of memory and cpu.

However reloads went up from 2-3 hours to 3-5 hours.

Some documents didn't open at all when we first went to 12.20, but somehow after SR3 this improved, however the time to load certain documents is veeery long. (But sometimes still faster with the Ajax client compared to the desktop client.. )

Now our users request that we go back to the old setup. I don't suppose there are any quick fixes, but if someone out there have some ideas - please let us know.

Hi Kenneth,

I agree with Chip's comment, but would suggest that since you changed multiple components in your environment, QlikView 12.2 might only be part of the problem.

We recently migrated from QV 11.2 to QV 12.1 SR8, and experienced some performance concerns. Most of these were related to the new a Windows Server version, database connections or network issues.
