A good way to get status of Distribution service ?

Hello,

I'm currently designing a web tool to check the status of my QlikView Platform.

To have a good view of the status of the Server, I'm using the Events and Performance files written every 5 minutes. It helps me looking at the licences used, the CPU and memory load and the server usage. I'm also looking at the QlikViewServer/Temp directory to check the size of Excel exports.

Now I would like to do the same with Distribution Service on a separate Publisher server. I would be happy to see what are the current tasks running, the duration of completed tasks and the status of the server.

Are there files that automaticaly write these information like the Events / Performance files ? if not, what would you suggest me to check to have the biggest amount of information with the minimum browsing ? especially the current tasks running
