Hi All,

I have a straight table, I have three design issues which I am not able to fix

Issue1. How can I fix the size of the column in a straight table. I have a column whose label is left aligned and the content(number) is right aligned, hence the column on the whole does not look aligned, is there a way to reduce the size of the column so that boht the label and the content is in a line.

I could find option for multiline settings but didnt find any regarding the column width.

---------------------------------

Issue2: In the straight table I am getting vertical bar and horizontal scroll bar, I want to get ride of the horizonatal scroll bar as I have fixed number of columns. (How do I do this?)

And the vertical column should appear only when there are more than 10 rows in the table?

There are options to change the width of the scroll bars but I didnt find options to meet my requirements

-------------------------------------

Issue 3: Number formatting : 1000 separator

If I have a number sya 123456789 , I want to display it as 123,456,789.

thanks!

Hi,

     1. When you mouse over the end of the column, you can see the something like + , by using you can fix the width as well as you want

2.By Right click the chart, you can see fit column to data, by using this you can avoid scroll bar in horizontal.. for vertical you can use height of the chart in caption <- properties

Moreover, you can use width also there itself for avoid horizontal bar

3.You can use Num() function or if in Number <- properties select integer.. it automatically acheive your requirement

     See the attached file

     Hope it helps..

1. You could go to the "Presentation" tab on the object properties and either change the label to be right aligned or change the data to be left aligned. Alternatively you can click and drag the vertical bar to the right of the column header to resize that column.

2. The table has to be wide enough to show all of the columns at the same time, or there will be a horizontal scroll bar. Either make the columns smaller by dragging the bars between the column headers, or make the table wider.

Change the height of the box so only ten lines are visible at a time. With default fonts it'll be somewhere around 175 pixels high.

3. On the "Number" tab, change the number format settings to "number".
