QlikView Reload | Trigger using QMS API

Hi,

We are using QMS API to create on external event trigger. We are able to create and run the task successfully.

But even though a task is created, and ran successfully, the timer icon on document is not visible, and when I go to the Documents/reload tab the option was selected to none. why is that? How to make the the timer icon show up with out using QMC? FYI: we don't have publisher license.

I don't have a non-publisher server handy to verify this, but I believe the timer icon is only display if a timed schedule is set for reload. Also, the Reload option is only checked when a schedule is set.
