      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have an application deployed in one network. I am not able to open the application though plugin mode from other network. I have noticed that it happens only in laptop where as in desktop I am able to access from other network. If so, can you post them?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: calibri, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;To Andrew's point, is port 4747 open on the laptop? IE Plugin communicates directly with QVS via 4747.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: calibri, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;For extended logging, you can make the below configuration change for IE Plugin client:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;1. &lt;SPAN style="color: #000000;"&gt;In Windows Explorer, navigate to &lt;SPAN style="color: #000000;"&gt;C:\Users\&amp;lt;User&amp;gt;\AppData\Roaming\Qliktech\QlikView&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #000000; font-size: 10pt;"&gt;2. Edit Settings.ini&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #000000;"&gt;3. Under [Settings 7] section, enter &lt;/SPAN&gt;ExtendedErrorLoggingMode=1&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;4. Save Document&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: calibri, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;The extended error logging for IE Plugin will be written to &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; font-family: calibri, verdana, arial, sans-serif;"&gt;C:\Users\&amp;lt;User&amp;gt;\Documents&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Chip&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
