Qlikview 12 server - Set up https with qlikview webserver (NOT IIS)

Hi Guys,

I've a single Windows 2012 R2 server environment with QV 12 server (SR5) and i need to set up https communication using qlikview web server (NOT IIS).

I saw in QMC the possibility to check Https option and change port number, but it's not working simply applying this settings.

Is there a clear step-to-step procedure (updated to QV12!) to follow in order to set up https communication?

I didn't found anything detailed in online guide (except for multiple server https setting, but that is not in my purpose).

Great guide, thanks Frank. Is there a way to get the QlikView webserver to auto redirect HTTP requests to HTTPS?

Note:

There is no way to redirect with QVWS, you will need to use IIS.
