Qvw File name changed to lower case in server after task execution from QMC

Hi All,

I am getting an issue in my dev server. Issue as below.

I am saving my qvw file in First letter capital (eg., Sales_Report.qvw) then when I place the file in server and execute task in QMC, once the execution is done the file saved in all lower case (eg., sales_report.qvw).

Deleted the task and recreated it again. But the problem persists.

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi,

Please let us know the version of qlikview you are using? and as for as I know there wont be any issue occurs regarding lower case or upper case letters.

Send us the screenshot and explain how you are creating task and executing.

Thank you for the reply.

The version I am using is Qlikview 11.2

It is not creating any issue but I would like to know why the case is getting changed after the task execution.

I am creating the task from QMC in usual way.

In general tab will provide the Task name, Distribute tab will give the named user details and setting trigger.

Dear Leni,

Do you have a Qlikview Publisher License installed or a simple Qlikview Server installed?

Take a look on task log C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\1\Log.
