Qlik 11.20 SR20 Access Point Scrolling Issue

Hi all,

we are using Qlikview Serview v11.20 SR20 and we have trouble with web.

We have IE11 so Qlikview plugin is not an option for us.

When using access point, in IE and Chrome, scrolling does not work.

When I checked developer mode in browser, it shows problem with javascript:

“Uncaugh TypeError: Cannot read property ‘scroll’ of underfined”

“Uncaugh TypeError: Cannot read property ‘scroll_end’ of underfined”

Do you have any suggestion what to do? Is Qlik Server v12 going to solve this?

You need to be using v11.2 SR5 or higher to support IE11.

The scrolling issue has been mentioned many times on this site.

The current release of v11.2 is SR15.

Thanks Colin, we are going to upgrage, I thought we are running latest SR.

Is there any development on IE plugin?

Can you post the version no from the QMC Help About screen. The QMC shows the build no but not the SR directly.

I doubt that there will be much further development of the Plugin as Microsoft have replaced IE with Edge for windows 10. See this thread IE Plugin Qlikview 12 performance issue

We tend not to deploy the plugin on sites we support as Ajax does not require any client install and has functionality that is better suited to the users requirements - extensions & collaboration.

Sure, we just updated and the current version is 11.20.13405.0.

Scrolling works and we can even run IE plugin in IE 11.

We have a dashboard with macro updating QVD file and partial reload. This works on desktop and IE plugin, but not access point.

I'll put together separate question for this.
