Line Chart with duplicate data ??

Hi can anyone help me in making a line chart with duplicate data ?? I am new to qlik view.When i try to make a graph with duplicate data, the duplicate datas are joined by straight lines and the rest of the data on the graph are shown as dots on graph....Let's say i have data of 6 quarters Q1 = 5%, Q2 = 10% , Q3 = 15%, Q4 = 25%, Q5 = 10%, Q6 = 5%. So when i am plotting tghis on graph. both 5% and 10% are getting connected by a straight line and rest all data are shown as dots...... I want only a single line to connect all the data.. Please enlighten me in this regard. Cheers! Akhil

Could you please upload the screen shot.

Also tell us what dimension and expression you are using.

Hi,

Did you get the dimention and expression in the line chart right?

on dimention tab: Choose Quarter as dimention

on the expression tab: enter [On time payment] in Definition field.

You should be able to get the graph below, though the quarters are not corrected ordered.

Hmm seems you have added more than one dimentions in the dimention tab is it?

Are you sure that you have not put [On time payment %] in the dimension field too ?

Thanks Vincent... You got it right..! I removed [On Time payment %] from dimension field and it worked like a breeze..
