Authentication for internal and external user

Expert, We have requirement for internal and external users for QlikView. Internal users will access application using Active directory. External user will be created separated (They are not part of AD group). How to resolve this issue? Do we have standard feature where we can create external users?

Hi,

you can manually enter all needed users to a custom directory. You find it at QMC->System->DSC->Custom Directory

I think you should read your QlikView license agreement. AFAIK external users are only allowed to connect to an Extranet server. I would suggest you talk to your Qlik Partner about a solution. They will be glad to help you out.
