Monthly task with Publisher

Hi people:

I have a new requeriment and I would like a little help, the requirement is send a report by email the second networkday of the month.

I've created the app and the report, I've created too a new task to send the report by mail; but I'm not been able to setup this timming.

How can I create a task to launch a mail this day ?

other wise create a supporting task.. external program ..please config the email configuration...and create a task...

Hi,

You can use the EDX option to trigger your task. What you should do is.

Create a QVW file which will check today against the second networkday, if it is true it will call the EDX and trigger the task which you have created to email report.

For this new QVW you can create a task to run everyday at sometime.

As per my knowledge we don't have the option to identify the networking day in server and than configure the email...

work around would be ,

1.create a qvw and have have the calculation for the 2nd networking day and in the script if its satisfy the condition allow to script execute properly other wise make a condition to fail the script execution and reload task will fail .

for the actual application Add a dependence task on this new created app so that when the reload is successful the actual application task will get trigger otherwise it will wait till it get the successful message .

2. Create an external task trigger ...
