I have two servers using the same QVW, the first server keeps any changed variables across logon attempts while the second server does not.

For example:

User on Server A clicks a button which has an action to set variable vButtonClicked to 1. The user closes the window and opens it back up and logs in. The variable vButtonClicked remains as 1.

User on Server B clicks a button which has an action to set variable vButtonClicked to 1. The user closes the window and opens it back up and logs in. The variable vButtonClicked is reset to 0.

Are there any settings in QlikView or a Windows Server that would cause such a result? As far as I can tell both servers have the same QlikView settings.

On the QMC (QlikView Management Console) there is a checkbox for "Allow Session Recovery". That will affect whether or not selections carry over from one session to the next. You may want to check if it is turned on for both servers.

You can find it in the QMC on the System tab, then the Documents tab.
