Hi,

I have question, do I really need to install qlikview desktop to use the IE Plugin?

Coz I've notice, when I select IE Plugin as preferred client to a computer that don't have qlikview --- it is disabled.

What should be? Please help.

You need to install the QlikView Plugin - which is an OCX component that is part of the Desktop installation.

qlikview plugin doesnot require qlikview desktop .

qlikview plugin needs to access application from access point

if its show disable then you can download IE plug in from access point

when you open acceess point then at top right corner , a link available to download IE plug

click on dowwnload IE plug in and follow the setup

Hi Bill,

You can find the .EXE of the install program for the IE Plugin in the folder for the Server installation, by default C:\Program Files\QlikViewServer\Server\QlikViewClients\QlikViewPlugin in version 11.
