I have some pie chart with a legend

The legend is as always made by a name and a value

I need to make the charts smaller in terms of width, and it seems easy beacuse there is a lot of room in the legend between the name and the number
I use CTRL + SHIFT to make modifications, but as soon as i make the legend width smaller, the numbers disappear, as if they had not enough space

But there is still a lot of white space there!

Has anyone faced the same issue?

Put a limit on the legend characters? I think the default is 15 but if you don't need that many...

Good idea, but unfortunately it doesn't resolve the problem: the numbers still disappear

Does it work for you?

Hi,

Check that attachment I modified all widgets and reduced the Legend width.

Hope this is what you expects.

I just tried something and it seemed to work. use ctrl shift and move the legend so it is not locked to the side. Resize the legend, then move it back. From there you should be able to resize again to the wanted width.

Like Jagan I was easily able to resize the legend using Ctrl+Shift. Not sure why you can't...I was moving the border between the pie and the legend. See attached.

Jason, Jagan, this is what i see in your files (the sshot.jpg attachment)

in the chart,jpg attachment is what i see when i CTRL + SHIFT on my chart

how am i supposed to unlock the legend from the right side? i can only resize the left part of it

I really can't understand why MY qlikview does always behave different from everyone's else

And you can't drag or resize any of those red boxes? Maybe increase the size of the object to check there aren't any hiddent title elemenets you can't see right now?

I have succesfully detached the legend from the caption (as marcsliving said), and i can resize it on every side (left,right, top & bottom)

But the problem remains: when i reduce the width the numbers disappear, even if there is a lot of white space in between (see attached images)
