Access Point Externally

I have a question for those of you who access Qlikview reporting external to your company. I have read man posts about issues connecting and ways to solve them, but nothing on how to achieve it in the first. Now this may just end up needing to be a question for IT here at my company, but how do we best go about connecting to Access Point externally and how have you personally achieved this?

We currently have a portal that we connect through to remote into our PC, but it doesn't work correctly to view Qlikview reports. We can connect, but then we are looking at the PC view of AP from our desktop and we can't utilize HTML 5 functionality through this connection. The sole purpose behind this questions is because we would like to utilize mobiles devices in viewing our current reporting.

What does the mean of access Qlikview reporting external to your company?

We can access the reports through VPN,Mobile,Ipad,Blackberry with the same network.

first you need a public ip, then open the ports in windows firewall for public networks

Ports, protocols to open in firewall for QV Server 10 or 11 ?

you should be able to access the server that way
