qlikview In memory capability..

HI,

i was just going through Qlikview Architecture and there is one confusion , if i say qlikview has a in memory engine means it will load all the data in memory of the device(RAM) from which we are opening the dashboard or it will impact Server RAM. which RAM it will use and how it will be used ?

server RAM will be used and this will store the base footprint of the application, plus cache calculations made in that application, cache will be dynamically controlled by the QV server itself to drop cache when required etc.

calculations will happen in qlikview on-fly accordantly users selections,so it's fetch data from qv server system ram.
