Update QV-Server to SR5

Hello,

we are currently running QV Server 11.20 SR3 (11.20.12018.0409.10).

Is it easily possible to grade it up to 11.20 SR5 or do we have to pay attention to some severe changes for data-security reasons?

Hi Falko,

there would be major changes between Service Releases, normally just bug fixes etc.so the upgrade will be straight forward. See the attached release notes for SR 5.

yes,u can easily upgrade to 11.20 sr5 or latest sr10 with out paying any charges,but u have to take the necessary backup's before proceeding to upgrade.

SR updates are normally very quick and painless. The main thing is to check that there are no bugs in the release that could affect your QlikView applications.

Even if you're not updating to the latest release, it would be wise to read through all the later release notes to see what has been fixed (or what bugs there may be in your release).
