Hi,

I have to install qlikview server in one machine and Publisher on the other,

Please tell me the process.

I have installed Qlikview server, Qlikview Webserver and Qlikview Directory service in Server 1

and Qlikview Distribution service and Management service in server 2.

I tried changing the server name in server2 to server1 , I am not able to change.

Please help.

Are you tring to do the clustering ?

If yes then follow the procedure as given in reference manual .

Or is you want to put server on one machine and publisher on other machine ?

* Install everything on server 1 and verify it is working

* Install Distribution Services on server 2

* Change setting in QMC for QDS. Remember to use URL's to a share so server 2 can write and read on server 1 (or use NAS)

* Disable Distribution Service on server 1.
