Enable license in qlikview

Hello,

I have a qlikview server placed on server1

and then i have two users placed on server2.

first user has qlikview license enabled on server2 but i cannot make the second user work?

How do i enable the license?

When i open in server i can only select the files from server1 but the license is not updated.

Can you clarify more.

Make sure for 1 user only two lease is allowed.

How? What?

What should i clarify?

I have an uncapped server license.

My desktop developer on the server (where management console is) - has a desktop client with license

A developer on another server has a desktop license

A third developer on another server doesnt have a desktop license but should have.

I dont know how to apply the desktop license to this user?

License here you mean server License or Local Client.

Did you try by leasing License.

Points to consider

1) You cannot lease License test server

2) The users for whom you want to lease must assign Named Cal.

3) Make sure allow License lease is checked on server.

Hi Thomos,

Try to lease the license for third developer from qlik server but if you have remaining license available on the server like by

1. Open Qlik desktop

2. Open in Server

3. Write the server details there like QVP:\\name and then click on open(use exactly same server name here)

hi.

I tried this. If i do so, it just still says its a personal edition.

I cant see any named calcs. Its QV10 - I can only see that its a uncapped server, and there is 1 document

Ok, did you provide exactely same name example

qvp://YourServername

qvp://IP Addresss/name

or with any specified users also

I think you have Unlimited License for 1 document.
