Do I need a qlikview server license?

Hi All - I have a qlikview test server license for my dev env

and also a qlikview enterprise server license for my prod.

Currently I am leasing license from the qlikview prod server to the qlikview test server. The test server cant lease license.

So now that I am leasing the license from prod, Do I at all need the Qlikview dev (test server license)?

My understanding is I might still need test server license in order to view apps/schedule using the test server license on qlikview accesspoint. The leasing of license from prod is mainly for developing apps so that it can be shared across ppl who want to view it and not use personal edition qlikview developer.

Please let me know.

Hi Narayan,

You got it right. You still need the test server license to access the QV apps on the Dev server accesspoint.

HI,

Yes you are right you still need Test License for Accessing Application via web in your dev environment.

Where as you still need to lease license from prod Server in order to continue development in Dev Server.

What I see is that all your assumption is correct.
