Allocate a document CAL to a group

Hey everyone,

If a allocate a document cal to an AD group. Can the people of this group access together at the application ?

Why don't we put all the people who need to access to the application in one group and then use only one document CAL for everyone ?

Hi,

It appears that the system will allow you to assign a group to a CAL, but it will not work. You will have to assign the CALs to the users you want to have access.

Using Publisher, I distribute documents to an AD Group and set the document CAL' s to be dynamically assigned.

This works perfectly for me, but obviously one needs to have purchased a Publisher licence and enough document CAL's.

yes, that will work, but you can't assigned a CAL to a Group.
