change by default send to excel type as xlsx i.e 2007,2010

Hi all,

I have an user who try send to excel and have windows 7 +excel 2010 installed on his machine

but when he send to excel it shows as Type:excel 2003.

could some one pleaase suggest some solution

Hi,

This is not possible. Qlik Still uses office 2003 format as default one.

Office 2007 and 2010 is not yet integrated.

I'm not sure weather it is implemented in QlikSense.

Edit:

I Confirm QlikSense has this feature.

Hi,

As far as I am aware QlikView only saves to xls files. (Old Excel). They do not have the functionality as yet to save to a xlsx file.

There is no official document But I'm sure about it.

Bill Britt or Daniel Zanders can confirm the same.

Dear Chauchans,

It is on track to be implemented on the future releases; unfortunately, no ETA yet. As now, only it saves in xls.
