same group user have different access

section Access

ACCESS,NTNAME,Level

Admin,domain\groupname1,L1

user,domain\groupname2,*

section application;

groupname1 have two user say sunil and amit

sunil have L1 access where as amit has all level access. but it should be L1 for amit also

Note: We have uncheck strict exclusion

when i am checking strict exclusion amit dont have access to

what might be reason.could someone suggets?

Had the user been not there in any group you mentioned in the section access, this could happen. But you are saying that they belong to same group. Very unusual. I would recheck if the user is really there in that group.

Check if amit is in groupname2. I am not sure how QV decides which group/access to use if a user exists in multiple groups.
