Publisher Service data reduction and onOpen event

I have set a field value selection in the onOpen event of a document.

When the publisher service reloads the data, the qvw file keeps all field values in the schedule folder.

When the publisher service distributes the report to the publishing folder, only the data according to the onOpen event remains available.

Is this behaviour intended or not? I expected that QVW files are equal in schedule and in report folder.

You can use Loop and Reduce features of publisher.

it is suprising that the onOpen Event changes data after report reloading, before publishing.

I expected that the data filtering applies only for the end user when accessing the report via AccessPoint.

Hi Marcel,

if you haven't specified a data reduction in your publisher task (on the reduce tab) or through section access then the published document should still have all the data yes and the on open trigger will just select the value.

So I would have a look at those two options first
