Publisher Document Distribution error

Hi All,

We have a two qlikview servers server1 is publisher and server2 is Production for accesspoint. We are creating the task in server1 to reload and distribute the application form server1 to server2.

Reloading is happening successful but distribution is not happening. Please see the below error and help us to reslove this.

Error: QDSMain.Exceptions.DistributionFailedException: Distribute failed with errors to follow. ---> QDSMain.Exceptions.DistributeToResourcesFailedException: Distribute to resource failed. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

We may need more information about your configuration in order to detect the problem:

- Is your distribution task distributing the application to the server2 or to a folder in server2?

- Does the user running the tasks has the necessary permits in server2?

- Do you have one or two Management Consoles running?

Hi Gabriela,

We have the provided the permission for distribution.

One Management console in each server. not more than one.

That may be the problem. You should have only one QMS running controlling all your servers. If you have multiple QMS's then you effectively have 2 separate installs. Try deactivating one of your QMS's and then get all services configured on the remaining QMS.
