Hi 😉

Our Offline service doesn't want to start : Windows can't start the Service Qlikview Offilne Service...Error 1053 ....

Serveur Windows 2008R2 Standard

QMS@srv-qlikview
	Product Information
		Product name	QMS Backend Core x64
		Client Build Number	11.20.12354.0
		Target Platform	x64

Any idea ?

Are the other services running starting? It looks like .Net 4.0 is missing, only 4.5 installed. Is it a new installation or just added the Offline Service?

goto run -> type servicemen->select qlikview server -> right click -> properties-> logon-> give your service account or admin account-> apply and restart the service hope this helps

task manager-> kill qvs.exe-> Restart

Schianchi,

Can you go to your Windows Application event logs? This will tell you better idea what is the issue about.

For the logs go to : Server Manager > Diagnostics > Event Viewer > Windows logs > Application.

Here look for the offline application.

Hi Daniel

Yes the other services run without pb

it's a new install and we just update the server to vers 11.20.11922 to 11.20.12354.0 SR6.

After one restart all was OK but after the second one this service is still not started.

I will try to install .Net 4.0.

To chauhans85i 've already done his action and it's the same state.
