License Lease

Hello guys,

from my server license, i have already lease 2 desktop edition, but now i want lease one more desktop.

but i won't work, please need help.

What exactly isnt working?

From QlikView Desktop when logged on as the user who will lease the license:

1. File > Open in Server

2. Enter the Servername

3. Click on connect

This should lease a license provided in the QlikView Management Console you have the following:

1. Spare Named CALS

2. Dynamic CAL Assignment

QMC>System>Licenses> Client Access Licenses (CALs)>General

3. Or Have added this user to be have a Named CAL

QMC>System>Licenses> Client Access Licenses (CALs)>Assigned CALs

Hi,

Make sure you have enough CALs on server.

I have followed the steps that you have mentioned.

But still i cant able to lease licenses, It was not given any error.

I have 10 Named CAL out of that only 1 i have assign and which is too administrator.

also i have 10 DOC CAL.

by usins Administrator user i was trying to lease license. but i won't work without any error.

If you have 10 Named Cal, then create one more user and add Name CAL to them.

then use that newly created user to lease license.
