Distribute to local group

Hi All

I need to distribute documents to certain people in the organization. I created local groups on my server and put the domain users in those local groups. I distributed but users are not able to see the documents. When I distribute to each users, it works fine. Any idea how can I fix it?

I also added one of the user to the Qlikview Administrator group but still the user is not able to see the documents.

Did you try creating domain group and adding users to it?

HI Adarsh,

I don't think that will work. It does work with local users and local groups. It would great a AD group and put the users in it.

I do not have permissions to create global AD groups but I tried using existing one and it did not work either.

It actually does. I have used it before and another server in our installation is doing it. I have tried to match every setting but clearly I'm missing something. One major difference in new installation is we have a cluster and the web server is IIS instead of qvws.

Hi,

You have to create a group at Active directory

Hi Ashfaq,

As earlier people mentioned, you need an active directory group for this. If you are not allowed, please use an existing group consisting of Active Directory users.
