Hello,

One of my client is planning to buy the following server :

HP Proliant BL460c Gen8 ES-2650v2 2.6 GHz 8-core 1P 32GB-R P220i/512 FBWC Server

Could you confirm that this configuration is relevant for QlikView.

Hello Laurent,

It depends on what you will use it for. All services? Only QDS? QVS? QVWS?

Server specification needs to be considered (RAM, CPU, disk) as some of our products are very memory intense. This needs to be calculated based on documents, users, settings etc.

All QV services will run on this server.

I just wanted to be sure that this HP server is in the "whitelist" of servers (recommended hardware for a QlikView Server), or, at least, not in the "black list".

Hello again Laurent,

If you are a partner or a customer with portal access, you should be able to find a "whitelist" from the knowledge base. Also, have a look at this White paper, and the reference documents in the end:QlikView Scalability Benchmark White Paper.pdf , which might be helpful in determining if your server is sufficient to your needs.

Please find attached the whitelist of servers
