Annotations on Mobile Devices

Hey,

I'm on a project trying to develop note/annotation and snapshot capabilities on Qlikview 11 for iPad, using a HTML5 service.

From an iPad I can add new comments and snapshots but not new notes (lack of 'right-click' capabilities I suppose).

Any idea how to add new notes?

You need to add the Menu option on the caption. It allows you to select the Notes from the dropdown menu.

Hi,

Are you talking about Apple Store QlikView App?

If yes then there are some limitations.

According to the mobile documentation "small devices" does not support few objects, read pg 21.

In order to use the limited space of the small device in an optimized way, some objects are not included when opening the document using Ajax on Small Devices:

Button

Current SelectionsBox

BookmarkObject

Container

Input Box

Search Object

Line Arrow

MultiBox

Text Object

Access to the excluded objects is available by switching to full browser version.

I notice you mentioned above the objects that do not render when in small device version but want to find out if the calendar object renders on the small device version on QV server via the access point?
