Application scroll issue in IE 11 browser

Dear All,

I am using Qlikview 11 SR3 both desktop and server versions.

Recently our users upgrade to IE 11 browser version and when accessing the application from it the scrolling is not working.

I think either it might be a bug with IE 11 browser version or with Qlikview 11 SR3.

Please provide your comments on this.

Hi Ravi,

I am not sure but only from QV 11.2 SR5 support for IE11 is added, any lower version IE 11 will not work.

As now QV SR5 is released you can upgrade else you have to use Chrome or Other browsers in “FULL BROWSER VERSION” or Downgrade the IE.

Hi Ravi

Explorer 11 It´s only supported on QlikView 11.2 SR5, not on older versions, I would downgrade IE or if you want to upgrade your QVS version.

good to knows someone else had the problem; I was thinking to post the same question.

My users too raise the problem after the upgrade to internet explorer 11 and full browser version (Qlikview server isn't SR5). They also have problem with the calendar object, they can't move it.

With ie 10 it's all ok.

At the moment they are using a different browser, waiting for the server upgrade (11.2 SR5).

I had the same problem, by upgrading to SR5 the scroll problem was solved.

Hi Ravi,

IE 11 only works on SR5, u need to upgrade QVS or downgrade your browser.

Hi!

I downgraded to IE10 and it works.

Since SR5 was released, I updated it back to IE11 and installed 11.20.12235.0 plugin (it comes with the 11.20 SR5 server), but it doesn't work...

Hi again!

I just upgraded my QVS to 11.20 SR5 but it's not working on IE11... ¿do I need to apply a special activeX security config?

I upgraded to 11.20 SR5 to fix the scroll bar issue and scroll bars now work in IE 11.0.9600.16521. However, scroll bars still don't work in IE 11.0.9600.17041 unless compatibility mode is turned on.

EDIT: Never mind! The scroll bars are working fine in IE 11.0.9600.17041. Users have to click ctrl-F5 before they start working. I should have thought of that sooner.
