How to hide unassigned document from Doc Cal users

Hi Support team,

In our server we had published 4 to 5 documents which is related to finance MIS and etc.We assigned doc cal and named cal for that particular published documents. Named cal users are restricted to open that file but it is showing all documents to the named cal users what we published how to segregate this while publishing . for eg: accounts team should not see the mis documents which we published .

To restrict this,

You can manually assisgn doc cals and named cals to your users and moreover uncheck the option , allow dynamic leasing for both named cal and doc cal licenses.

In this way you can be specific for the users, which have to use doc and which to named cal ..

Hi Satishkumar,

You can do this in following ways:

If using SBE server:

First Way: Remove user's access to the application folder in windows, ie restrict user at window level so that it does't have permission to access mounted forder of particular application.

Second Way: Use Section Access, Just add permitted user in basic windows NT authentication in section access.

If you are using EE, you can use DMS mode, in authorisation only add permitted user.
