Hi,

qlikview Version 12.0.20400.0 SR5 64-bit

hangs when click on expression tab definition,

The popup window is not been displayed and hangs.

So i need to force close. Occurs on windows 10,

AFAIK SR5 was a bit buggy. Therefore a more recent release may help: QlikView November 2017 Service Release 3 now available.

Did you check for a window outside the visible screen area? I noticed this effect when changing screen number and resolution (e.g. when docking off a laptop).

Yes when go from 2 screens to single it seems to want to popup boxes in not existent screens.

So somehow it thinks it has multiple screens available even after a reboot. This is on windows 10.
