I would like to know user's last time log in into QlikView Access point. Is such information available trough Management Console ?

Hi Marcin,

I'm pretty sure the Management_console won't tell you that - but the AccessPoint is essentially a Website, just look for a tool to gather web_statistics, that way you can learn the last time anyone visited that URL.

The QlikView Governance Dashboard 1.0 will give you this & loads of other suff as well.

The session.log file will tell you that. In the settings folder - QLVApp\QVLogs.

Yes.

For User CALs
QVMC > System > Licenses > Qlikview server > Assigned CALs

For document CALs
QVMC > Documents > Select document > Document CALs > Last Used

Go to QMC -> Documents Tab -> Select the dashboard to see the last used time -> Go to Document CALS Tab -> Under Last Used (UTC) you should be able to see the last used time for the dashboard.

Similarly for Named cal goto QMC -> System Tab -> Click on Qlikview Server -> Client Access Licenses(CALS)-> Assigned CALs -> under Last Used (UTC) can see the last usage by the user.

Also there are some Qlikview Log Analyser dashboards which make use of the Logs to identify the last usage and all that try to use them if you wish to know more details

Goto QMC / Users / User Management / Search for user / CALs Tab -> Last Used

You can use Governance dashboard for more informations about your users, server, documents and more.

Execute attached file for install Governance, official Qlikview application.

Hi,

Yes there are logs to trace that, you can go on QEMC -> System -> Setup -> QlikView Server -> Logging.

Here you will find the Session log, enable it.

and click apply.

The log folder path will also be seen here.
