Keep Session Active After Application Relaod

If an application tasks finishes reloading and is published to AccessPoint, all active user sessions in that application end. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

My concern is that if we schedule a short (every 15 minute for ex) refresh interval in publisher, the users will continuously be kicked out.

Is there some way to pop a message box up notifying the users that the data has been refreshed and give them the option of reopening their session with new data or keeping their current session with old data?
