Dear All,

I recently have deleted a document which has 5 document user attached to it,

how can i release the 5 document that are missing on the QMC?

QEMC --> User --> User Management --> CALS

Please select the User and delete the CAL

QEMC stands for Qlikview Enterprise Management Console

This is the one of Qlikview server component to manage the qvw's and server administration.

Hi Dathu,

Thanks for you suggestion,

I go to the page,

and select the user that had been assigned cal to,

the QMC prompt me about the file is missing/ the path is wrong

then i follow the path to create again the same path and QVW,

restart the QMS, finally I can delete the cal successfully!

you may need to do one of the following:

Resolution 1:

Stop the QlikView Server service.
Add PgoAsXmlAlso=1 under [Settings 7] in the Settings.ini file located in %ProgramData%\QlikTech\QlikViewServer (default location)
Restart the QlikView Server service
Navigate to Root Directory and Open the CalData.pgo.xml file to determine to which document the CALs were assigned
Create a new blank QVW file named the same as document listed in CalData.pgo.xml & save it in the Root directory
In Management Console, navigate to Documents > User Documents and locate QWV created in the previous step
Click Document CALs tab and set Number of CALs allocated to this Document to zero and click Apply

Note: This resolution can be applied where the assigned CALs are HIGH in number.

Resolution 2:

Stop QVS and QMS as when you remove files it might still remain in the memory,
And then delete both caldata.pgo file under the "user documents" and also "ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer"
Restart the services

Note:This resolution can be applied where the assigned CALs are in LOW in number.

Resolution 3:

Clear the license information and reapply again

Note:This resolution can be applied where the assigned CALs are in LOW in number.
