Reload on specified Publisher node

Is it possible to force a document to reload on a specific publisher node? We have a 2 node Publisher cluster with a third and possibly a fourth on the way. We would like to be able to force documents to always be reloaded on the server we specify, is this possible?

Hi Jeremy,

One options would perhaps be to not cluster the publisher, giving you the option to specify what distribution server to use but losing the fail over that a clustered environment provides.

That is probably the route we are headed Hampus since essentially we are doing the same by wanting to specify a node.

In recent QlikView releases (QV12.10 and later) this kind of publisher cluster scheduling is supported. Tasks can now be assigned to specific QDS nodes in a cluster.

[Edit] QV21.10 ? No such thing...

I know it's an old threat. But can you clarify where to force the document to be reloaded on a specific QDS node in a cluster environment ? I can't find it 😉

Hi @Messen,

You can configure QlikView Publisher Groups to enable pinning a reload to a specific QDS node.
