Loop and Reduce: Can the base QVW be distributed along with the split QVWs?

Hi All,

Suppose I have a base QVW file which I am able distribute to Access Point folder through Loop and Reduce method in Publisher, by splitting it into no. of QVWs based on a dimension.

Is it possible to distribute the Base file itself along with the splitted QVWs?

Have you tried creating a second distribution task?

NO.

Instead of creating another task, I wanted to do in a single task, just to make sure that I should not increase the no. of tasks on QMC.

My wish to create Base File and Splitted files from a single task. Is it possible anyways?

The base file cannot be moved. It will remain in the mounted source folder. The QDS will basically make a copy of the source document and put it in a user document folder as configured in the task so it becomes available to users at the AccessPoint. (and of course you can also opt for storage in other non-mounted folders, or by email).
