Hello everyone!,

I need to store some files related to QV somewhere and make them available to download. I would like to use the QV Server, but I dont know exactly if I can use it for this purpose. The QlikView Server is itself a File Server but as far as I know I can only use it to retrieve QV Documents. Is that right? Is there some easy way of using the QV Server as a File Server?

THanks!!

Angel

Hi Angel,

I'm sorry, but QlikView server shows to users only QV documents (.qvw). To do what you want to do, you can use IIS with a virtual directory (see this topic : http://community.qlik.com/thread/89970).

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Nicolas

Thanks Nicolas, but I managed to solve it. You can do it using the QVMC.

In the tab System, then Setup, QlikView Webservers und finally in the tab Web, you can map the folders that your want.

Greetings
