Hide QVWs from Access Point

Hi guys,

I have reinstalled the qv server on a new machine

On the old one some of the qvws were hidden from the users..

Now, after moving them to the new server I see them on the access point.

I dont have publisher and it needs to be done on the server

Any idea?

Hi Alec,

I believe it is to do with your NTFS folder setting.

Check the NTFS folder rights in your old machine and see if they are the same as your new machine.

Go to QMC

-> System

->QVS

-> Folders

->uncheck Browsable

Another approach.

Go To QMC

- Documents

- Select the document you want to hide

- Availability

- Uncheck "IE Client" and "Fullbrowser and small device version"

- Apply

you wont see the document anymore in the access point
