Still new at Qlikview and how to use some of its tools. I am trying to add an Action or Trigger when I click on data (text box properties with data showing) I would like for it to navigate to another tab which I have colored coded. For instance if I have a summary tab with data, once clicked on the data it will take me to the other tabs that are relevent. Is this something I can do using an action or trigger? Thanks in advance for any ideas..

Hi,

Try this,

Setting -> Document properties ->Triggers -> Field Event Trigger ...From this, select your field name . then from onselect click Add action -> Layout in action type and choose active sheet in action give sheet ID

So when you select from list box, it goes to the corresponding sheet which you give in trigger..

I was able to get the trigger to work, thanks for your guidance. I went into the text object prop box that a I was working in and, clicked on tab Actions, Layout, Activate Sheet, entered the SheetID as you specified and it worked!! Yea !!
