Configurable ODBC - read from excel file

Hello!

I am trying to set up a configurable ODBC to read from excel file with two tabs: entity (containing columns entityid, name, descr, email) and groups (columns: groupid, memberid) as described in manual. Still the below settings seem not to work. I receive no errors (red star) but when I try to search for users, no results are returned on Users tab.

I have set up a system DSN with name TESTDCS.

I do not know what exactly should be put in Directory Label field and also if tab names (from excel file) should be used in Entity and Groups table db name fields.

Has anyone managed to set up a configurable ODBC properly? Any ideas what am I doing wrong?

HI Amien,

Please give the Entity name as `name `, Entity table db name as `entity$` and Groups table db name as `groups$`.

I am using Qlikview 11.0 and it is working fine for me. Please find the attached Scrrenshot.
