QV11 Named Cals Dynamic Assignment

Hi All,

In QV11 when we use dynamic cal allocation at the document level in the document cal section - it gives the possibility of assigning doc cals on the basis of who accesses first limited by user security on your files and number of document cals.

Can we configure the same way for named cal? or the same dynamic cal allocation first checks a named cal and then gives a doc cal?

Help.

Hi Vikram,

You can allow Dynamic CAL Assignment for named User CALs as well (QMC > System > Licenses > QlikViewServer > Client Access Licenses (CALs) > General tab.

If you have both User CALs and Document CALs available to be dynamically assigned, the server will assign a User CAL first and when they are all taken, then assign Document CALs.
